If shopping malls are more your thing or if you are looking to dodge the rain then head to Westfield at White City, the largest indoor shopping centre in Europe. Spanning over the equivalent of over 30 football pitches you are sure to find what you are looking for at Westfield. Compared to Kensington, shopping here is all about the variety – you’ll find anything and everything here! The centre includes a food hall, cinema and indoor ice rink in the winter months.
How to get to Westfield
For those heading to Westfield White City via the tube, four underground stations provide easy access to the centre, a few minutes-walk away. Arrive into Shepherd’s Bush (via the Central line), White City (Central line), Wood Lane (via the Hammersmith & City Line) or Shepherd’s Bush Market (Hammersmith & City Line). If you are travelling via the Overground, The Shepherd’s Bush National Rail station has direct connections from Willesden Junction, Kensington Olympia, West Brompton and Clapham Junction. Services run every 15 minutes in each direction Monday to Saturday, with 1-2 trains each hour on Sundays. The shopping centre also has a car park. The car park is open 6am – 3am, 7 days a week.
