Rocco Iannone describes himself as a cook rather than a chef, reflecting his authentic and deeply rooted approach to Mediterranean cuisine.
Trained in some of Europe’s most prestigious kitchens, including Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse, Don Alfonso 1890 and Georges Blanc’s restaurant in Vonnas, he developed a refined technique while remaining faithful to his Mediterranean roots.
After earning a Michelin star at pappaCarbone in Cava de’ Tirreni, he chose to move away from the spotlight and focus on a more personal style of cooking.
In 2014, he founded Tenuta Nannina, where his cuisine is inspired directly by the surrounding land, sea and traditions of Southern Italy. Since 2017, he has also brought his Mediterranean cuisine each summer to Forte Village Resort.
